गुल्मी अस्पताल, तम्घासले सीमित स्रोत–साधनका बाबजुद जिल्लावासी तथा सेवाग्राहीलाई गुणस्तरीय, सहज, सुलभ र प्रभावकारी स्वास्थ्य सेवा प्रदान गर्दै आइरहेको छ। आर्थिक वर्ष २०८२/८३ मा अस्पतालबाट सञ्चालित विभिन्न स्वास्थ्य सेवा, कार्यक्रम तथा गतिविधिहरूलाई व्यवस्थित गर्दै सेवा प्रवाहमा निरन्तर सुधार गर्ने प्रयास भइरहेको छ। यस सन्दर्भमा अस्पतालको वार्षिक प्रगति प्रतिवेदनमार्फत अस्पतालले हासिल गरेका उपलब्धि, सामना गरेका समस्या तथा आगामी दिनमा अवलम्बन गर्नुपर्ने रणनीति र कार्ययोजनालाई समेटेर प्रस्तुत गर्न पाउँदा खुसी लागेको छ।

स्वास्थ्य सेवा नागरिकको मौलिक अधिकार हो। यस अधिकारलाई व्यवहारमा सुनिश्चित गर्न अस्पतालले उपलब्ध स्रोत, साधन तथा जनशक्तिको अधिकतम उपयोग गर्दै सेवाग्राहीमैत्री वातावरण निर्माणमा जोड दिँदै आएको छ। सीमित भौतिक पूर्वाधार, जनशक्ति तथा स्रोत–साधनका बीच पनि चिकित्सक, स्वास्थ्यकर्मी तथा सम्पूर्ण कर्मचारीहरूको निरन्तर मेहनत, समर्पण र सहकार्यका कारण अस्पतालबाट विभिन्न विशेषज्ञ तथा विशिष्टीकृत स्वास्थ्य सेवाहरू सञ्चालन भइरहेका छन्।

अस्पतालमा नियमित बहिरङ्ग सेवा, प्रयोगशाला, रेडियोलोजी, आकस्मिक सेवा, बालरोग तथा अन्य विशेषज्ञ सेवाका साथै आवश्यकता र सम्भावनाअनुसार थप सेवाहरू विस्तार गर्ने कार्य भइरहेको छ। प्रयोगशालालाई थप व्यवस्थित तथा आधुनिक बनाउँदै आवश्यक परीक्षणहरू अस्पतालमै उपलब्ध गराई बिरामीलाई बाहिर जानुपर्ने बाध्यता कम गर्ने तथा रिपोर्ट छिटो र भरपर्दो रूपमा उपलब्ध गराउनेतर्फ विशेष ध्यान दिइएको छ। डिजिटल प्रविधिको प्रयोगमार्फत सेवा प्रवाहलाई थप प्रभावकारी, पारदर्शी र व्यवस्थित बनाउने प्रयाससमेत भइरहेको छ।

अस्पतालको सेवा प्रवाहलाई अझ प्रभावकारी बनाउन भौतिक पूर्वाधारको विकाससँगै आवश्यक उपकरण, औषधि तथा दक्ष जनशक्तिको व्यवस्थापन अत्यन्त आवश्यक छ। नयाँ भौतिक संरचना तथा सेवा विस्तारका लागि सम्बन्धित निकायसँग आवश्यक समन्वय र पहल भइरहेको छ। आगामी दिनमा अस्पतालको क्षमता अभिवृद्धि गर्दै थप विशेषज्ञ सेवा सञ्चालन गर्ने, गुणस्तरीय स्वास्थ्य सेवा विस्तार गर्ने तथा सेवाग्राहीको विश्वास अझ मजबुत बनाउने हाम्रो लक्ष्य रहेको छ।

गुणस्तरीय स्वास्थ्य सेवा प्रवाहका लागि अस्पतालका पूर्वअध्यक्षहरू, मेडिकल सुपरिटेन्डेन्ट, चिकित्सक, नर्सिङ तथा स्वास्थ्यकर्मी, प्रशासनिक कर्मचारी, सहयोगी कर्मचारीलगायत सम्पूर्ण अस्पताल परिवारले पुर्‍याउनुभएको योगदानप्रति हार्दिक आभार व्यक्त गर्दछु। उहाँहरूको अनुभव, सुझाव र सहयोग आगामी दिनमा पनि अस्पतालको विकासका लागि महत्त्वपूर्ण रहनेछ।

Despite limited resources, Gulmi Hospital in Tamghas has continued to provide the people of the district and all service users with quality, accessible, affordable, and effective healthcare. During fiscal year 2082/83 B.S., we have worked to organize the hospital’s health services, programs, and activities while continually improving service delivery. I am pleased that this annual progress report presents the hospital’s achievements, the challenges it has faced, and the strategies and action plans required for the days ahead.

Healthcare is a fundamental right of every citizen. To uphold this right in practice, the hospital has focused on making the best use of its available resources and workforce while creating a patient-friendly environment. Despite constraints in infrastructure, staffing, and resources, the dedication, hard work, and cooperation of our doctors, health professionals, and employees have enabled the hospital to provide a range of specialist and specialized health services.

Alongside regular outpatient, laboratory, radiology, emergency, pediatric, and other specialist services, the hospital is expanding additional services according to need and feasibility. Particular attention has been given to modernizing and better organizing the laboratory so that essential tests can be performed within the hospital, reducing the need for patients to travel elsewhere and ensuring faster, more reliable reports. We are also using digital technology to make service delivery more effective, transparent, and systematic.

Further improvement in hospital services requires not only better physical infrastructure but also adequate equipment, medicines, and skilled personnel. We are coordinating with the relevant authorities and taking the necessary initiatives to develop new infrastructure and expand services. Our goal is to strengthen the hospital’s capacity, introduce additional specialist services, broaden access to quality healthcare, and build even greater trust among our service users.

I sincerely appreciate the contributions of the hospital’s former chairpersons, medical superintendent, doctors, nurses, health professionals, administrative staff, support staff, and the entire hospital family toward delivering quality healthcare. Their experience, advice, and support will remain vital to the hospital’s continued development.

I also extend heartfelt thanks to the local governments, provincial government, health agencies, elected representatives, political parties, social organizations, media professionals, and all stakeholders who have provided the hospital with support, advice, and coordination. I am confident that their continued cooperation and partnership will help us develop Gulmi Hospital into an increasingly organized, modern, and patient-friendly institution.
